Origin
Established in the year 1965, the Sancheti Institute for Orthopedic & Rehabilitation was soon followed by the Sancheti Hospital for Specialized Surgery in 2008. The Hospital is a safe destination as well as a tertiary reference centre for even the most complicated cases in the field of orthopaedics across the entire country. The Sancheti Hospital was also the official medical referral centre for the Commonwealth Youth Games 2008 and was responsible for rendering all types of medical services to the athletes, coaches, support staff as well as to the spectators.
In fact, Sancheti Hospital’s sports medicine caters to numerous national and international teams in several different sports and the Hospital was, therefore, selected to be the official medical partner for the Commonwealth Games 2010 and the World Series Hockey in 2012.
