Pune: With an aim to provide complimentary dialysis treatment, ANP Corp has put together a charity half marathon to be held on March 19. The run will be organised in in collaboration with Runbuddies Races.
The aim of the Half Marathon is to promote a healthier lifestyle and to reach out to the underprivileged and the disenfranchised who have been long neglected and provide them with the necessary healthcare they require, specifically providing complimentary Kidney dialysis.
Irrespective of the distance, every single registration leads to a corresponding complementary dialysis at the ANP Care Foundation, for those who can’t afford the procedures said Mr.Manohar Pherwani
Sunil Adwani( Managing Director , ANP Corp) requested citizens of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad to experience the joy of giving by participating in large numbers.
The Run has various categories ,half Marathon and 10 KM. Both the Run formats are timed. Senior and kids can choose from 5 KM Fun Run and 3 KM Fun Run/Walk.
Every participant will be awarded a race T-shirt, Finisher medal, Goody bag, Timing chip, Breakfast, Hydration and Route support and E-certificate
In order to inculcate proper running techniques and avoid injuries, Runbuddies will be conducting free beginners sessions every Saturday at ANP Universe Balewadi High St, Balewadi, Pune at 6:45 AM, till 18th March’23 under the guidance of Coach Hitendra Choudhary.
Expert Runners Geo Thomas ,and Vivek Salvi will be the Mentors , while Guinness World Record Holder and the 1st Indian to complete La Ultra 555kms race Ashish Kasodekar and IG Krishnaprakash have been named as the Race Ambassadors added Shilpa Gopinath and Arvind Bijwe of Runbuddies Races.
Lifepoint Hospital is going to provide medical support, informed Dr.Rakesh Neve.
