Pimpri Chinchwad: With every single chore and things returning to their old days. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has decided to resume one more service. PCMC has approved the resumption of private coaching classes, libraries, and skill-training institutes in non-containment zones. These include courses in which training of typists, skill development, and computer classes take place.

Order of PCMC

Civic chief Shravan Hardikar gave this order. In his order, he said private coaching classes from standard IX onwards can resume their functioning after complying with Covid-19 safety measures. The notification said coaching classes must ensure all safety precautions of social distancing.

In addition to sanitisation, RT-PCR tests will be carried out. They have also instructed Admin staff and non-teaching employees to conduct before these places reopen. Masks, thermal scanning, sanitiser bottles at the entry point, and a safe distance between two benches are mandatory for everyone.

Choice of Teachers and Students

Vaibhav Bakliwal, director of Bakliwal Tutorials, said they have a Chinchwad branch and were not in a rush to open. Students and teachers should have an option about joining classes physically or continuing them online. A teacher at the private coaching class said the offline classes were more useful for students. There are some disadvantages to online classes as well. So, keeping this in mind, many students and teacher bodies are willing to have offline courses.

Opening of Gardens

Hardikar also said gardens outside the containment zones would remain open from 6 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 7 pm every day. Accordingly, this decision may benefit those who were suffering till now due to the closing of these places.
