One of the big changes that the beta release of iOS 15.4 brings is the ability to unlock your Apple using your Face ID while wearing a mask. The beta release of iPad IOS 15.4 and macOS 12.3, includes Universal Control to enhance the experience for the user who owns both devices.
Along with the ability to unlock an Apple using the Face ID along with a mask, iPhone has upgraded its facial recognition tech. It is the most requested feature as people are wearing face masks since the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic in the year 2020.
The iPhone tried to solve the problem of recognizing people via Face ID while they wear a face mask in the past year. It enabled a fast way to unlock using the passcodes when they wear a mask on all the devices that have Face ID power. The company has last year given the ability to unlock Face ID has equipped an Apple variant using an iPhone watch when wearing a face mask. Both the new updates did not appeal to the user to a large extent.
It shows iOS 15.4 that the Cupertino giant is addressing user requests to enable them to unlock their Apple using a Face ID.
The iPhone has been trained with the latest algorithms to recognize the user based on their eye region when wearing a mask. It enables the user to unlock their Face ID –
- without putting their mask off,
- using alternatives such as passcodes or their iPhone watch.
For optics, use Face ID along with a face mask when they boot their Apple running iOS 15.4 for the first time.
