The HomePod mini is a smart speaker from Apple that comes at a low price. This is the best and affordable speaker for a dedicated Apple user.
Design
The Spherical design is impressive. HomePod Mini is small in size -3.3 inches tall.
The top portion is flat and it has a touchpad.
HomePod Mini has a C type cable permanently attached which connects to the 20W power brick provided along with the speaker.
Setup
Setup of this device is easy and hassle-free. As the Apple devices are powered by Siri, you can access the HomePod with voice comands.
Sound
Sound is loud. Sound quality is good but not as great as other smart speakers of Google and Amazon in that price segment. HomePod Mini lacks clarity in audio.
Controls
The glass panel on top can be used to increase or decrease the volume. Tap in the middle will pause the music. Double tap funtion is to forward to next track while triple tap will skip back tracks.
There is no mute option for this speaker which is a major drawback.
The glass panel shows some cool animations while music is being played.

It is available in two colours; White and Space Grey. It is priced at $ 99.
