Faasos Food Services Pvt. Ltd, commonly known as Faasos, is an online food ordering business chain that delivers in more than 32 cities in India and also in Dubai. Owned by Jaydeep Burman, Kallol Banerjee in the year 2011, the Faasos is the only vertically integrated food services in India which have their supply chain and make their food and related items. The normal orders received by the Fassos are 10k in a day and are progressing at a good rate, making more impact in the food supplying chain in India; they are having a progressive rate of 20-25% on a month to month sales. Their headquarters are situated in Pune.
The brand was formed by Jaydeep Burman and Kallol Banerjee and both worked together in making it a success and somehow they made it. They raised their first round of funding of Rs 30 crore from Sequoia in late November 2011. They received their highest funding of about $125 million from the REBEL foods Pvt limited that is their parent company. The Fasoos launched its mobile app in the year 2014, having over 1,500,000 downloads and serves 300,000 customers every month with more than 12000 orders per day.
Faasos is a new emerging brand in its designated field and is making many efforts to overcome some of its rivals which have already captured a big share in the market. Faasos is still trying to improve it’s delivery-related operations as many cities and regions are not servable by them yet. Some of the remote areas where other food delivery brands are providing services, Fasoos is still trying to peep in, although Fasoos is a new member in the food supply chain but it has already started many ideas to attract new customers.
They recently started a loyalty bonus program called ELITE program in which they give some cash backs, Pay later within 15 days free sweets, and birthday special items. The brand is still improving and will make a good impact on the market as it is emerging at a good pace now.
Faasos are mainly famous for their Wraps that start at Rs. 99 only. Some of the Wraps available are Jumbo Sized Chicken Wrap, Cheese Chicken Delight Jumbo Wrap. Faasos have also launched the “Hunger Saver” Program to feed poor children of our country. They aim to feed 10,000 children by 2020 and gift them a smile 🙂
