Founded in 1996, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, also known as IIM-I is the sixth IIM established under the IIM legacy. Ranked 5 among all the IIMs by the NIRF India Ranking 2021, it is one of the prominent public B-schools in the country with autonomous status. It is an institute of ‘National Importance’ since and second IIM after IIM Calcutta to be awarded top three international accreditation, namely – AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. The varsity has also been ranked 12 for its EMBA programme in Central Asia in MBA Ranking in 2021. IIM Indore offers PGP and PGPMX programmes along with several executive courses. Accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management is the flagship programme of IIM Indore. It is a two-year, full-time, residential programme that is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is considered equivalent to an MBA degree. Apart from this, the institute offers a slew of new-age programmes at the PG and doctoral levels.

IIM Indore has exchanged tie-ups with several prestigious international B-schools, such as Alba Graduate Business School (Greece), Asian Institute of Management (Manila), Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand), and EM Lyon Business School (France), among others. On the scholarships front, IIM Indore offers both merit and need-based scholarships in the form of fee waivers and concessions as it believes that no student should be denied the privileges of education because of financial issues.

IIM Indore Courses and Fees
IIM Indore offers around mainly five courses –
PGP, EPGP, IPM, GMPE, FPM.
Selection and Eligibility Criteria for PGP –
Selection Criteria: CAT
Eligibility Criteria: Possess a bachelor’s degree in 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates)
Total Course Fee – INR 21.06 lakh
Selection and Eligibility Criteria for EPGP –
Selection Criteria: GMAT
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any stream along with five years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation
Total Course Fee – INR 21.11 lakh
Selection and Eligibility Criteria for IPM –
Selection Criteria: IP MAT
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for reserved category candidates i.e. SC/ ST/ PwD)

Total Course Fee – INR 12.52 lakh

Selection and Eligibility Criteria for GMPE –
Selection Criteria: Merit-based + Statement of Purpose
Eligibility Criteria: Possess professional qualifications, such as ICWAI/ CA/ ACS along with at least two years of work experience, or Possess a postgraduate/ Engineering degree/ professional degree with at least three years of work experience, or Passed BSc/ BCom/ BA degree with at least five years of work experience, or Passed diploma degree with at least 10 years of work experience

Total Course Fee – INR 5.90 lakh
Selection and Eligibility Criteria for FPM –
Selection Criteria: CAT/ GMAT/ GATE/ GRE/ JRF
Eligibility Criteria: Possess professional qualifications, such as ICWAI/ CA/ ACS along with at least two years of work experience, or Possess a postgraduate/ Engineering degree/ professional degree with at least three years of work experience, or Passed BSc/ BCom/ BA degree with at least five years of work experience, or Passed diploma degree with at least 10 years of work experience
Total Course Fee – INR 75,000

IIM Indore: Placements
The placement key highlights of IIM Indore are as follow:
• There were a total of 210 recruiters from companies all over the world.
• The batch which sat for placement PGP included 578 candidates which comprised 431 students from PGP 41 students from dual degree and 56 students from PGP Mumbai students). This was the highest number of students from any batch from any other Business School .
• There was an increase of 10.24% in the previous year statistics of the average CTC. The average CTC for the top 100 students was at INR 32.9 Lac. Though the median salary also rose significantly 2 iron ore 22 lakh

IIM Indore Scholarships
IIM Indore provides Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) to the PGP/ IPM students whose gross annual family income does not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh during the relevant financial year. IIM Indore also participates in National Scholarship for higher education for ST students offered by the Government of India. In addition to these scholarships, the FPM students at IIM Indore are provided with the following grants and subsidies:
• A fellowship grant/stipend of Rs 27,000 per month during their course work and Rs 33,000 per month after clearing the area comprehensive exam as per norms (maximum duration for which they can get stipend would be 57 months)
• A contingency grant of Rs 25,000 per annum for four years is also provided
• The institute subsidizes expenses for presenting papers in the National Conference subject to a ceiling of Rs 30,000 per year with a provision that from second year onwards for attending one/more than one conference per year.
