New Delhi: PNB MetLife has recorded an Individual Claim Settlement Ratio of 99.81% and a 99.70% Group Claim Settlement Ratio for the financial year 2025–26, highlighting its continued focus on timely claim settlements and customer-centric service.
During FY26, the life insurer settled 6,188 individual claims amounting to ₹526.62 crore and 6,868 group claims worth ₹502.69 crore. The company stated that 99.98% of claims were settled within 30 days of receiving all necessary documents, while 95% were processed within seven days and 35% within a single day.
Further strengthening its claims process, PNB MetLife expanded its ‘Claims Assure – 3 Hours’ initiative, under which 1,681 claims worth ₹56.67 crore received a claim decision within three hours. These claims were subsequently settled within a maximum period of one week.
To enhance customer convenience, the insurer offers multiple claim registration channels, including its khUshi app, official website, WhatsApp, partner bank branches, and PNB MetLife branches, making the claims process more accessible across digital and physical platforms.
Commenting on the achievement, Sameer Bansal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, PNB MetLife, said that every claim represents a promise fulfilled by the company. He added that the insurer remains committed to providing customers with quick, simple, and empathetic support during difficult times, while continued investments in digital capabilities and service excellence have helped strengthen customer trust.
PNB MetLife currently operates through 182 offices and reaches customers across more than 20,000 locations through its banking partnerships. The company offers life insurance solutions spanning child education, family protection, long-term savings, and retirement planning, supported by a network of over 40,000 financial advisors and 585 group relationships across India.
