Pune: In a heartwarming initiative titled Flight of Fantasy, 14 underprivileged children from Pune were given the rare opportunity to board a flight for the first time in their lives, traveling to Hyderabad from July 16 to 18. The initiative was organized by Poona Mid Town Round Table 65 (PMRT 65) and Poona Mid Town Ladies Circle 53, with the aim of broadening horizons and creating lifelong memories for the children.

The journey was made possible through the support of Star Air, the aviation division of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, which provided subsidized fares as part of its mission to “Connect Real India.” Travel sponsorship came from Mr. Nikhil Thakurdas of Odyssey Tours and Travels, whose contribution played a key role in bringing the initiative to life.

Once in Hyderabad, the children were treated to a memorable experience that included visits to the historic Charminar and the iconic Ramoji Film City. The two-night stay and sightseeing itinerary were thoughtfully arranged by Hyderabad Round Table 304 and Hyderabad Ladies Circle 167.

The excitement and wonder of flying for the first time, coupled with the thrill of exploring new places, brought immense joy to the young travelers—an experience they are sure to cherish forever.

Chairman of PMRT 65 Swapnil Sethiya, along with tablers Rishap Agarwal and Swapnil Khater, accompanied the children during the trip, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.

Round Table India, known for its commitment to community service and nation-building, continues to empower and uplift lives through meaningful initiatives like these—proving that a small act of kindness can help children dream bigger and reach higher.
